Partners & backers
A regular practice.
A lasting connection.
Joy of Flow, Taste, Roam will bring breath-led yoga, shared suppers, and small-group retreats into one neighborhood community, beginning in Fells Point, Baltimore.
The business we’re building
Regular classes and memberships will anchor the studio. Separately ticketed suppers will create more time together; retreats will grow from the teaching relationships and community already in place.
Our hypothesis is simple: when people feel known and find a rhythm together, they have more reasons to return. We’ll test that through attendance, repeat bookings, and what people choose to pay for.
Start small. Learn in person.
- Run paid pop-up classes in a rented Fells Point space.
- Host a separately ticketed supper with a local chef.
- Use attendance, return visits, feedback, and event costs to shape the studio offer.
- Test an optional teacher-guided AI companion with willing teachers and students.
Joy is pre-opening. We’re not presenting a waitlist as paying membership, or a companion pilot as proven retention.
A studio first
The companion is a tool to test in the studio experience. Joy’s business case will stand on the quality of its teaching, its community, and its operating economics—not on an assumed software business.
Build with us
We’d like to meet local teaching partners, chefs, hosts with suitable pop-up space, and potential backers who share this approach.
For a funding conversation, we’ll discuss the operating assumptions, startup costs, use of funds, and milestones directly. This page describes the concept; it isn’t an investment offer or a claim of established financial performance.
